As part of the economic reactivation, the Ecuadorian Professional Training Service (Secap) offers two MOOC courses, which are online and are aimed at the entire population. There are 1500 places available and can be registered on the website: http://www.secap.gob.ec.
The duration of the course is 24 hours and all citizens can participate, even if a person has already been trained, but wishes to refresh their knowledge can take it again, since there is no limit on enrollment.The pilot plan includes 1500 quotas and after observing the demand will be increased and readjusted for people to participate. The Ecuadorian Professional Training Service (Secap) has implemented a new offer of MOOC courses, which are online, massive and open courses, characterized by the construction of a collaborative and self-taught learning, based on the democratization of knowledge. The name MOOC comes from the acronym M (massive) O (online) O (open) C (course).
The registration process for MOOC courses will be carried out through the official website http://www.secap.gob.ec. Once the citizen is registered, an access link for the training will be sent to his/her e-mail, specifying the start and end dates of the course. After the participant has completed all the activities of the MOOC course on the established dates, he/she will receive a digital certificate of participation, which can be downloaded to the e-mail address registered at the time of registration.
