Descripción: La presente investigación trata sobre la aplicación del Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos como una alternativa para mejorar la formación práctica en la disciplina de Autotrónica de los estudiantes de automoción del Instituto Tecnológico Guayaquil. El problema es la incorporación de nueva tecnología basada en la electrónica para el funcionamiento de los vehículos. La aplicación de la misma se realizó con un estudio de las diferentes estrategias y metodologías de aprendizaje que optimizan el rendimiento académico y la vinculación con la sociedad tan necesaria en la formación. La prueba se realiza con profesores y alumnos que dan la información que permite el uso de la estrategia de gestión que desencadena de la elaboración de una guía de laboratorio para la elaboración de microproyectos que acabará dando un macroproyecto que servirá como soporte técnico en la capacitación profesional de los alumnos.
